The AusAlert national test - Monday 27 July 2026
The Australian Government will run a national test of AusAlert, the emergency warning system that sends critical alerts straight to mobile phones. You may receive a test message with a loud sound and vibration. No action is required - it is only a test.
ZSF is sharing this with our Somali Australian community so families, older people and newly arrived residents know what to expect. If you need help understanding the alert, contact our team and we can explain it in your language.
